Kristen has been representing clients since 2001 in a wide range of legal matters, including white collar criminal defense, commercial litigation, and employment law. She is particularly dedicated to advocating for employees whose rights have been violated or threatened in the workplace.
After serving as a law clerk to a federal judge, Kristen began her legal career at a prominent New Jersey law firm, where she gained extensive litigation experience. In 2014, she joined the Law Offices of Damian Christian Shammas, LLC as Of Counsel.
Kristen is admitted to practice in New Jersey, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
She earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey, in 2000. She received her undergraduate degree in English from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, graduating summa cum laude in 1997.
In addition to her legal practice, Kristen is deeply involved in her community. She currently serves as Co-President of the Montville Township High School Parent Teacher Council and is a member of the Montville Pride Committee. Over the years, she has also coached cheerleading and lacrosse and held numerous leadership roles within the Montville school community, including President of the Hilldale Parent Teacher Council, President of the Lazar Middle School Parent Teacher Council, and Co-President of the Presidents’ Council for the Montville Board of Education.
