Erica is an experienced civil litigator with extensive knowledge in employment law, professional liability, property damage, personal injury, breach of contract disputes, and condominium law. She has successfully represented a diverse range of clients, including global retail corporations, small businesses, and individuals.

Before joining the Law Offices of Damian Christian Shammas, LLC in 2024 as Of Counsel, Erica practiced at both a national insurance defense firm and a mid-sized New Jersey law firm, where she developed broad litigation and trial experience. She also served as a judicial law clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, for the Honorable Harry G. Carroll, J.A.D. (Ret.).

Erica is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York, as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

In 2017, Erica earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut, in 2014, earning a degree in Political Science.
